Hello wonderful family, friends, and anyone else who is reading this-welcome to my first ever blog post! :) This is where I will be posting stories and updates in the months and weeks leading up to, and during, my trip. So glad you are here!

My name is Summer, and I am excited to share that I will be going on a 4-month long 'Semesters' mission trip with the World Race come January! Lord willing, I will be traveling to Nepal, Indonesia, and Australia with the rest of my team. I don't know yet the details of all we will be doing but I know we will be serving wherever there is need, learning tons, and sharing the truth of Yeshua, Jesus!

There are still so many unknowns and it's easy for me to get nervous and worry about all the little things in the process. Learning how to let it go and trust that God has a plan and His will will be done is something I'm definitely learning! I think of it sometimes like: if it's God's will for me to go, NOTHING could keep me from going-and if it's His will that I stay, well, nothing I can do could get me there. He is in ultimate control and when I stop mulling over the unsure-ities and focus on Him instead, it's so so much better.

I am so excited to see all that is in store in these next few months, and I thank you for any prayers!
